Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information BizDeck collects, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, password, and the owner's first and last name.
- Business information: business name, phone number, product category, agent link name, logo, and bank account details used to receive payments.
- Order and product data: buyer names, buyer phone numbers, order items, prices, addresses, delivery details, product catalog entries, and stock counts.
- Chat data: messages between your customers and your AI agent, kept for 7 days so you can review them.
- Payment information: payment references and transaction details processed by Paystack. We never see or store full card details.
- Device and usage data: browser type, push notification tokens, pages visited, and which features are used.
How we use your information
- To create and share invoices, orders, receipts, and payment links.
- To let the AI agent take orders from your customers on your behalf.
- To process payments and send confirmations.
- To track stock and send low stock alerts by push, email, or SMS.
- To send you account, billing, and service notifications.
- To understand which features are used so we can improve the app and fix issues.
Product analytics
We use PostHog to measure how BizDeck is used. It records page views and simple events such as "invoice created" or "plan activated", tied to your account ID. We do not send buyer names, phone numbers, addresses, order contents, or bank details to our analytics provider, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing your information
We only share your data with the service providers that help BizDeck work: our payment processor (Paystack), our cloud backend and AI provider, our email and SMS senders, and our analytics provider. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and local storage
BizDeck uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, hold your answers while you set up your store, and measure product usage. You can clear these through your browser settings.
Your choices
You can update your account details, export your orders, or delete your account by contacting us. You may also disable push notifications at any time.
